In times like these, unrest is prevalent in our nation, and the pandemic’s effect on health and economy is taking a toll. It is no wonder many are discouraged and under stress. Yet, it is the perfect time to be reminded of encouraging words from the bible, words you can share with others to bring them light and comfort. We know, with God, all things are possible, and our spirit is lifted.
Start your day with morning prayers, and be glad God has given you a new day to experience His blessings. Be a Christ-like example to others so that they can see and desire the peace in your life, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Here are some bible verses to draw encouragement and strength:
II Corinthians 4:16-18:
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Romans 8:31:
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
I Peter 5:7:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Isaiah 40:31:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Matthew 19:26:
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Psalms 34:8:
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Proverbs 3:5-6:
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Lamentations 3:22-23:
22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Isaiah 41:10:
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
