The Isaiah Trail to Salvation

The Isaiah Trail to Salvation

Finding Salvation in the Book of Isaiah

Not only is there a Roman Road but an Isaiah Trail that leads to salvation. As Christians, we should be sharing biblical truth about Israel and the Messiah to all people, especially the Jewish people, who are God’s chosen people.Ā

In the New Testament, Paul writes:

Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

Although the Gospel is intended to reach all people. Chronologically, itsĀ message was revealed to the Jewish people first before being revealed to the Gentiles, the non-Jewish people.Ā

Here is the Isaiah Trail you can share with your Jewish friends and acquaintances:

The Isaiah Trail

1. GOD LOVES MAN AND DESIRES THAT ALL MEN SHOULD EXPERIENCE A LIFE FILLED WITH HIS BLESSINGS.

Psalm 16:11: “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presenceĀ isĀ fulness of joy; at thy right handĀ there areĀ pleasures for evermore..”

Isaiah 41:10: “Fear thou not; for IĀ amĀ with thee: be not dismayed; for IĀ am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

2. MAN IS SEPARATED FROM GOD BY SIN: HE IS A SINNER BY NATURE AND BY WILL.

Jeremiah 17:9: “9The heartĀ isĀ deceitful above allĀ things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Isaiah 64:6: “But we are all as an uncleanĀ thing, and all our righteousnessesĀ are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

3. THE RESULT OF SIN AND SEPARATION FROM GOD IS SPIRITUAL DEATH.

Jeremiah 31:30: “But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.”

Isaiah 59:2: “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

4. GOD HAS PROVIDED A WAY BY WHICH RECONCILIATION CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED.

Isaiah 43:11: “I,Ā evenĀ I,Ā amĀ the LORD; and beside meĀ there is no saviour.”

Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the flesh isĀ in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for itĀ isĀ the bloodĀ that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

Isaiah 53:4: “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.”

Isaiah 53:5: “But heĀ wasĀ wounded for our transgressions,Ā he wasĀ bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peaceĀ was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
