Turn away from the sparkling attractions of this world because we have a greater Light, the everlasting shining presence of God within us.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Shine the Light<\/h3>\n<p>There are many ways to shine God\u2019s Light to others, such as being involved in missions or ministry, starting a bible study group, being active in your church, etc. Even if you can\u2019t do those, you can show the Light in everything you do, in all your speech and deed, every day. Live by example and others will see that Light emanating from within you. Simply let your light so shine and let God do his work in other people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<h3>Inspiring Verses to Let Your Light So Shine<\/h3>\n<p>Matthew 5:14-16:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.<\/p>\n<p>Psalms 119:115:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.<\/p>\n<p>John 1:5:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.<\/p>\n<p>John 8:12:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.<\/p>\n<p>Psalms 27:1:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 (<em>A Psalm<\/em>\u00a0of David.)
