The Central Park location opened less than two weeks after an identical unit was set up in Italy. Over 240 disaster response specialists including doctors, nurses, paramedics, lab technicians, and other critical support personnel had served at the New York City location. All of the coronavirus patients have now been discharged from the field hospital and Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan&#8217;s Purse, went to thank staff members who had been working on the frontlines.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.westpark-baptist-dev.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/samaritans-purse-nyc-2046US-C19-236.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11440\" src=\"http:\/\/www.westpark-baptist-dev.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/samaritans-purse-nyc-2046US-C19-236.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2001\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cI want to thank all of you for everything you\u2019ve done. We give God the glory for it,\u201d Graham said. \u201cWe are here to give and to give in the Name of Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for us. We want the world to know God loves them,\u201d said Graham. \u201cThis hospital has been a beacon of life and a beacon of hope. You\u2019ve been able to touch lives.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.westpark-baptist-dev.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/samaritans-purse-nyc-2046US-C13-085.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11441\" src=\"http:\/\/www.westpark-baptist-dev.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/samaritans-purse-nyc-2046US-C13-085.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3984\" height=\"2656\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>The organization treated over 300 patients within The Mount Sinai Health System including 190 to the 68-bed Central Park site. \u201cI\u2019m very grateful to the Mount Sinai Health System for adopting us and asking us to come,\u201d Graham said. \u201cIt was their invitation that brought us here. They\u2019ve been an incredible partner. We\u2019re thankful to God for this opportunity to work in New York and for the people of New York and to do it in the Name of Jesus Christ. These are uncertain times. I want the people of New York to know that God made us and created us and loves us.
