All those who believe and place their faith and trust in the Savior will be taken up in the clouds with Him and all those believers who have passed before us. We are to be watchful and be busy doing the Lord\u2019s work while we are still here on Earth to lead others to salvation. You have something to look forward to, something greater than anything this world can offer you.<\/p>\r\n<p>Here are some beautiful scriptures about the second coming to meditate on. These inspiring words will uplift your spirit and encourage you to keep doing the Lord\u2019s work.<\/p>\r\n<p>John 14:1-3:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">1 <\/sup>Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">2 <\/sup>In my Father&#8217;s house are many mansions: if <em>it were<\/em>\u00a0not\u00a0<em>so<\/em>, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">3 <\/sup>And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, <em>there<\/em> ye may be also.<\/p>\r\n<p>I Corinthians 1:7-8:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">7 <\/sup>So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">8 <\/sup>Who shall also confirm you unto the end, <em>that ye may be<\/em> blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\r\n<p>I Corinthians 15:51-53:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">51 <\/sup>Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">52 <\/sup>In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">53 <\/sup>For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal <em>must<\/em> put on immortality.<\/p>\r\n<p>Philippians 3:20-21:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">20 <\/sup>For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">21 <\/sup>Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.<\/p>\r\n<p>Colossians 3:4:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">4 <\/sup>When Christ,\u00a0<em>who is<\/em> our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.<\/p>\r\n<p>I Thessalonians 4:13-18:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">13 <\/sup>But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">14 <\/sup>For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">15 <\/sup>For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive <em>and<\/em> remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">16 <\/sup>For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">17 <\/sup>Then we which are alive <em>and<\/em> remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">18 <\/sup>Wherefore comfort one another with these words.<\/p>\r\n<p>II Timothy 4:8:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">8 <\/sup>Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.<\/p>\r\n<p>James 5:7-9:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><sup class=\"graytxt\">7 <\/sup>Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.
